Thank you for your interest in our latest projects. During our busy season, it’s difficult to find the time to update our blog and our Facebook page. However, during our off-season; when we have a little more down-time, we enjoy blogging about our current and future projects, and sharing those photos and experiences on social media. If you have a piece of history; whether it’s yours, your towns or your church’s, that you’d like for us to add to our project list, please contact us by email, phone or message us on Facebook.

Cemetery conservation and preservation project at Heidelberg United Church of Christ takes patience, heart and muscle.
Smith’s conservation work in the Heidelberg UCC cemetery is physically demanding and includes clearing brush, repairing broken memorials and resetting fallen monuments. He follows up his efforts of preservation by hand-scrubbing the gravestones to make them legible again. Mark Smith of Gravestone Transformations was initially drawn to the Fairfield County cemetery because he grew up in the area. After viewing the marble headstones scattered throughout the cemetery, however, he became more passionate about preserving Heidelberg.
