Gravestone Transformations is pleased to announce our newly designed services exclusively for Active and Inactive Cemeteries. Our small, family-owned businesses are nestled on our farm, #SmithRidgeFarm, located in Adams County, Ohio.

Our family is passionate about preserving the historic artifacts within America’s cemeteries and spreading awareness to others on how we can make a difference.

#SaveOurCemeteries and #SaveOurHistory are not just hashtags to us. They’re what drives us to make a difference. Our ancestor’s memorials deserve our respect and our efforts to preserve them. Please help us spread awareness to others of the need to save our history and our cemeteries.

Services are specific to Owners and Managers of Active and Inactive Cemeteries. Cemeteries can be public or privately owned or managed.

Manage Interment Program For Cemeteries

What businesses can benefit from this service?

  • Cemeteries that are inactive or active, are privately owned or public and are managed by the cemetery owner, a cemetery board, township trustees, or other municipalities.

What are the benefits of this service?

  • Accurate burial records and inventory management are a must for all active cemeteries, not just for the cemetery, but for the families who’ve purchased plots within them.
  • Accurate data for inactive cemeteries is a must for historical records, especially if moving the cemetery is a consideration at a later time.

What’s included in this service?

  • For active cemeteries: inventory management of all burial plots, data entry for purchased plots into the cemetery’s interment program, and marketing to increase sales of available plots.
  • For inactive cemeteries: data entry of all burial records into the cemetery’s interment program, a diagram displaying the locations of those interred, and includes research on any incomplete burial records through obituaries, death certificates, genealogy records, etc. to complete the cemetery records.
  • Data integrity is important for record-keeping purposes, whether the cemetery is active or inactive. Accurate records will always be a need for a client now that can lead to long-term benefits.
  • Full-time means the work for this service will be for 8 hours per day for 20 working days within the month.
  • Part-time means the work for this service will be for 8 hours per day for 10 working days within the month.

Full-time and Part-time options are available.

Manage Outsourced Services For Cemeteries

What businesses can benefit from this service?

  • Cemeteries that are inactive or active, are publicly owned and are managed by the cemetery owner, a cemetery board, township trustees, or other municipalities.

What are the benefits of this service?

  • Cemetery services are generally outsourced to subcontractors instead of being performed by in-house staff. Contract negotiations and managing the subcontractors can be time-consuming for the cemetery owner, manager, cemetery board, trustees, and others. Retaining the details of the contracts and making sure both sides adhere to them are key to managing all outsourced services.
  • I’m a sharp negotiator with over 20 years of experience along with 30 years of experience in managing subcontractors.

What’s included in this service?

  • This service covers one cemetery, one contract, and one subcontractor.
  • Contract negotiations and managing outsourced services are sold separately because not every cemetery owner needs the same services.
  • Contract negotiations can cover any contract with one subcontractor for services, such as lawn maintenance services (mowing, trimming, tree removal, and snow removal), grave openings (vault handling, interment, and dis-interment, above and below-ground burials), foundation installations, and preservation services (monument repairs, resetting, leveling).
  • For more than one contract, enter the total number that needs to be negotiated.
  • Management of outsourced services covers one of the above-mentioned subcontractors.
  • Management of outsourced services can be full-time or part-time, whichever the client prefers.
  • For management of more than one outsourced service, enter the total number that needs to be managed.
  • Full-time means the work for this service will be for 8 hours per day for 20 working days within the month.
  • Part-time means the work for this service will be for 8 hours per day for 10 working days within the month.

Full-time and Part-time options are available.
